Sorry but this book is not nearly as good as the other welding project guides for sale here. The directions are poorly laid out for the projects in my opinion. The welding and cutting information is ok but you can get the same info for free on many websites including public domain information. This guide in my opinion was written by someone scouring the internet to write the book, but didn't actually do any of the work, but I could be wrong about that. The author is not in any of the pictures that I can tell. I am not happy with this guide but I gave it two stars simply because some of the projects are good ideas but unfortunately lack more detailed explanations on how to build them.Product details

If you have no background in welding and looking to get into it, well this is a great book to start with. For any beginner, you cannot go wrong with this book. All the techniques are simply explained accompanied by great photography. Tools and equipment that you will need are all also shown. This book is a good foundation for learning and gives me the confidence in making the investment and getting equipped and begin practicing. I love the easy to follow step-by-step projects at the back of the book that inspires me to dive straight in.
